Work Furlough is a minimum security jail facility which provides lower risk offenders the opportunity to work and/or attend school or job training while serving a jail sentence, in lieu of incarceration at the jail. Employed inmates continue to assist their families financially, but pay a daily board fee. Inmates attending school also pay a daily board fee. Work Furlough is located on the Camarillo Airport grounds and offers the following programs: drug and alcohol counseling, AA and NA meetings, literacy, one-on-one tutoring, and church services.
